DrivenToDrive: Empowering Veterans Through Mobility
About DrivenToDrive
Mobility is a fundamental aspect of independence that many of us take for granted. For veterans with service-connected disabilities, something as simple as driving to the store can become a significant challenge. According to the U.S. Department of Labor, there are 4.7 million veterans living with a service-connected disability. These brave individuals, who have sacrificed so much for our freedom, often face daily struggles with physical mobility, which can hinder their ability to live independently.

MotorVero believes that driving is more than just a means of transportation—it’s an expression of freedom and independence. That’s why we launched DrivenToDrive, an initiative dedicated to helping injured veterans reclaim their mobility and independence by providing them with vehicles tailored to their needs. Since its inception in 2017, DrivenToDrive has been a beacon of hope for veterans, offering them a chance to regain control over their lives.
Our Impact
Since the launch of DrivenToDrive, MotorVero has received over 4,000 heartfelt stories from veterans across the country. Each story highlights the challenges they face and the resilience they demonstrate in overcoming them. Through this initiative, we’ve awarded three vehicles to deserving veterans, each one symbolizing a renewed sense of freedom and independence.
Our fourth DrivenToDrive event took place on November 8th, 2019, in Pembroke Pines, Florida. In partnership with AutoNation, we were proud to award another vehicle to a deserving veteran, helping them regain a small but significant portion of their independence. These events are not just about providing vehicles; they’re about honoring the sacrifices veterans have made and raising awareness about the challenges they face.
