The Problem: Front Brake Caliper Bolts

The primary concern is that the front brake caliper mounting bolts may not have been tightened properly during the vehicle's assembly. This oversight can lead to the calipers loosening over time, which may significantly reduce braking efficiency or even interfere with wheel rotation. Such issues not only compromise the vehicle's performance but also increase the risk of accidents.

The Fix: Inspection and Tightening

Mazda has instructed its dealers to inspect the front brake caliper bolts on affected vehicles. If any bolts are found to be loose, they will be tightened to the correct specification. In cases where bolts are missing, the calipers will be replaced entirely. All repairs will be conducted free of charge to the vehicle owners.
